Members can…

Market their products and services.  Participating in our events and programs gives members a chance to market their business to the entire community under the respected umbrella of the Chamber.  Members can expand their business through networking, low-cost marketing opportunities, and business referrals.

Have publicity and Exposure. The Chamber offers various ways to promote members’ businesses through our press releases, e-newsletter, community calendar, seal of membership to post on their website, advertising opportunities, and sponsorship opportunities.

The Chamber offers members the opportunity to get involved and network by serving on committees.  Members can enhance their leadership and management skills by taking an active role in the areas of educations, economic development, governmental affairs, and creating special community events.

Chamber members have access to exceptional training programs that address key business topics.  Many of these meetings range from 60-90 minutes, which makes them easy to fit into a busy schedule.

Each new member receives a packet that consists of a Chamber membership decal for their door, the Chamber annual report, a Welcome Guide, and a Cleveland resource guide.  Renewing members will continue to receive updated information.

Chamber membership guarantees members’ concerns will be heard.  Through partnerships with the City of Cleveland, Bolivar County, the Bolivar County Economic Development District, Mississippi Development Authority, Mississippi Department of Transportation and other agencies, the Chamber makes available a variety of resources that make doing business here easier and more profitable.  Invest in your community and a healthy economy.

Community Development:

Supporting the Chamber with your membership investment allows for forward progress in the areas of advocacy, economic development, education, and visioning.  Your investment helps continue further growth, but you will benefit directly as well.

Our Program of Work is more than a list of Chamber programs, it is our commitment to impact and improve the community in a given year.  It is an opportunity for members to make a difference in the community’s business climate and quality of life.

Chamber members have many opportunities to volunteer in community affairs and lend their talent and experience to benefit the community.

The Chamber’s role is to take appropriate stands on issues impacting Chamber members, advocate public policy issues of importance to the business community, maintain contacts with elected officials, co-host Delta Legislative Day in Jackson each year, develop leaders through Leadership Bolivar County Program, coordinate Community Calendar of Events, recruit and promote volunteers, and maintain a town and gown relationship with Delta State University.
